There is speculation that that increasingly cold weather may have been responsible for the Anasazi move from Mesa Verde to sites in other canyons.There is speculation that that increasing cold weather may have been responsible for the Anasazi move from Mesa Verde to sites in other canyons.Guys,   Is there any difference between above two sentence...? [increasingly cold] weather = weather that is getting colder and colder

[increasing (weather)] (and) [cold] weather - increasing weather? What could that be?

The second one doesn't really make sense to me.

In second one... I guess its being used as hierarchical adjective not coordinating adjective... INCREASING modifies cold weather..[increasing](cold weather)...Assuming my interpretation is correct, Is it(increasing cold weather) any different in meaning from increasingly cold weather

Increasingly is an adverb modifying cold (n.b.: the -ly ending very often indicates that a word is an adverb), not an adjective modifying weather.  "Increasing cold weather" doesn't make a lick of sense in that sentence.

"increasing cold weather", as I implied above, has no meaning, so it can't be compared with "increasingly cold weather", which has a meaning.

You're asking something like, "Does wubnxprg differ in meaning from fortunate?"
