Adjective Order

Is there a specific order that adjectives are supposed to be written in?

Example:

The yellow, metal fence

OR

The metal, yellow fence

1. epithet --- 2. size --- 3. shape --- 4. age --- 5. colour --- 6. origin --- 7. substance 8. gerund, etc... + noun.

In your case, 'yellow' is a 'colour' adjective, and 'metal' tells about substance, so you should write
