He sat in a chair in the same row as Winston, a couple of places away.

Q1) in the same row as Winston = adjective or adverb?

Q2) a couple of places away = adjective or adverb?

Q3) Is 'a couple of places away' shortened from 'a couple of places away from Winsotn'?
