ADJECTIVE NEEDED!

Hi all and thanks for reading and for helping me;

yesterday I went to a museum. In one of the rooms there were two women speaking each other, commenting the pictures shown on the walls. One of the women often said (referring to the pictures) something I could not understand at all; it sounded like:

FLAMMAGASTIC (?)
FLAMBAGASTIC (?)

or something similar, which I could understood it was some synonim of "marvelous" or "wonderful". Does such adjective exist in english? It was kind of slang? Which could be that adjective?

Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks!

It was not fantastic, as it is pretty similar to fantástico, in my native Spanish.

Maybe flamboyanting?
