Hi,

Please, which one is correct?

He bought a new car for which he paid in cash from his friend.

He bough a new car from his friend, for which he paid in cash.

What about this?

He did an exercise correctly, which was difficult.

He did an exercise which was difficult correctly.

The first is ambiguous. He may have got the cash from his friend.

It was difficult for him to get it right.

It was a difficult exercise but he got it right anyway.
