Adjective at the end of the sentence?

You try to transform new / used which are adjectives into adverbs, but you cannot do so as they are not

used as adverbs, unfortunately.

I find the structure quite common.

Wow, you guys. This is an embarrassing forum. Or should I say, this forum is embarrassing. The "embarrassing" in the first sentence is an adjective. The word "embarrassing" in the second sentence is called a predicate adjective.

One could say: I bought the game as new, or ‘as used’, which is an acceptable way to express it although I’ll leave it to others to explain the correct grammatical classification of new in this sentence.
