Sir,
1. He is the best boy in the class.
2. He is my best friend.
Here, In the first sentence the article "The" has been used becuase "best" is superlative degree. If I fallow the same rule , then why the article "the" has not been used in the second
sentence. Can I write (2) as
He is the my best friend.
He is my the best friend.
Please explain in detail.
Is noun "food" countable.
