In phrases such as "A thirties cricket captain" (Jardine)
"The sixties fashions"
"A fifties matinee idol"
Is the decade mentioned possessive or adjectival? If possessive does it need an apostrophe after it?

AnonymousShouldn't they be "sixties' fashion", etc.? Possessive?I see attributive nouns, like "baseball" cap or, for that matter, "cricket" captain. The nouns just happen to be plural, and the "s" looks lonely.
