Adhere/attach/plug, water became vacant on the tank, tainted water, tank was washed

Please adhere/attach/plug the one end of the pipe into the tap and put the other end into the bucket.
Water is not coming out of the tap. Is the water became vacant on the tank?
I don't like to bath using the tank water because it is tainted water. The tank has not been washed for more than 30 days now.

Please correct my sentences and provide better versions. Thanks in advance.
