Addressing line for a recipient

Hi,

I had started an email with the statement 'I hope this mail will find you in the finest health & elated spirits!!'. I just wanted to know if this is a correct/good way to start. Also, please suggest me some ways to start the mail.

Regards,

Jose

There are many ways to start a good email but you'll need to provide more context before I can help you further. As for the statement above, I have never received an email that began with such declarations, but if you really need to say something like that, you might consider something more simple: Dear XX I hope this finds you well and in good spirits.
