Adding a word
Should I add the word 'for' to improve this sentence and the use of the word 'exception'?
Angry with the gods for their habitual pursuit of power and negligence toward their mortal faithful, Ao relegated every god to walk among their followers on Faerûn. The only exception was (for) Helm, the god of guardians, who was selected to protect the gates to the heavens.
