Would you please tell me if these are correct and natural?

1. Wine adds flavor to cooking/food/cuisine.
2. When/If you add five and seven, you get twelve.
3. This purchase of his [adds, will add] 60 acres to his land.

I'd say "Wine adds flavor to food". I'd be less likely to say "... to cooking", and I would not say "... to cuisine" at all.

All choices in 2. and 3. are perfectly correct and natural.
