Vocabulary

AD hoc/ extra/ extraordinary attendance

Do these words (with "...") sound fine?

We sometimes have to work on weekends. We call it "ad hoc attendance" /"extra attendance" /"extraordinary attendance".

Thank you.

I don't really understand your question. " ad hoc = impromptu, all of a sudden, unplanned extraordinary = super-human, far beyond the normal expectation extra attendance = OK, but not really a natural expression

If people work more hours than are in the normal work week (either by working late or on weekends), it is normally called "overtime."

ad hoc = impromptu, all of a sudden, unplanned
extraordinary = super-human, far beyond the normal expectation
extra attendance = OK, but not really a natural expression

I'm sorry my question isn't clear enough.
But I understand you don't say these three expressions I made up.

So is this correct?
I have to work overtime this weekend.

Thank you.

MakiasanI have to work overtime this weekend.
Perfect.
You can say - I am working 8 hours overtime on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday. Hourly workers would get paid time-and-a-half for the 8 hours and double time for the 4 hours. Salaried workers don't get paid extra for overtime.
