I wrote this passage and the following task for elementary level teenage students to help them learn the use of has got/have got when talking about families. I was wondering if anyone had advice or critique about it. Is the language at the right level? Is the dialogue written in a way that will help the students practice the language correctly? Thanks in advance.
Pass out a one sided dialogue and have the students scan the passage for information to fill in the dialogue. Rafael Nadal is a tennis player from Spain. Rafael has a younger sister, Maria Isabel. The family lives together on a small island next to Spain called Mallorca. Julia: Hi, Julio! Julio: ___________________ Julia: What does it say?
