Imperative sentences can be made passive but usually not used, especially in speech.
For example, PLEAS OPEN THE DOOR can be changed to passive voice as LET THE DOOR BE OPENED, PLEASE or THE DOOR SHOULD PLEASE BE OPENED.
Likewise, negative imperatives can be transformed.
DON'T OPEN THE DOOR, PLEASE - DON'T LET THE DOOR BE OPENED, PLEASE.

As you were told, imperatives cannot be changed to the passive.

But if you insist on expressing "Don't open the door to strangers" in a passive manner, I think that you could say:

"Remember! The door should/must not be opened to strangers!"
