Hello

In English adverbials are arranged commonly in the order of manner-place-time.
Jack killed Bill on the street yesterday.
Bill was killed by Jack on the street yesterday.
The agent phrase "by Jack" is a kind of manner adverbial.

Hi,

Yes, commonly in the order of manner-place-time. However, you may also wish to emphasize a phrase by moving it more to the front.

A: I heard that Bill was killed in the park.

B: No, Bill was killed on the street yesterday by Jack.

Best wishes, Clive
