Active Passive voice
Two sentences with intransitive verbs (i think) n prep phrase, yet one can be changed into a passive n other cant. Why ? Can someone please explain.
He is sleeping in a hotel.
............
He is talking to a stranger.
A strange is being talked to by him.

0Although it is clumsy and not to be recommended, I feel that "A stranger is being talked to by him" works slightly better than "A hotel is being slept in by him", which is very odd. My suggestion for why it is so odd is that the hotel is not affected in any way by someone sleeping in it. Other people may have other ideas.
0If you consider the preposition as the particle of a phrasal verb, then both verbs have an object -- him and hotel. (The hotel is being slept in. The stranger is being talked to.)
