active-passive voice

Hi, I have a question concerning active-passive voice.

It is OK to say,

a. Ice cream sells well on hot days.

Then how about this one?

b. Airplane tickets book well before holidays.

Any suggestion is welcome.

Hi T509 You example of sell is correct. Another similar example is the largest-selling whisky in the world. Book cannot be used intransitively in sentence B.
