Active and passive speaking exercise

I'm wondering if someone can help me.

I'm in the middle of preparing my lesson on active and passive voices. It's my last lesson for the CELTA that I'm completing. I'm struggling to come up with a speaking exercise to get the students to use active and passive voices/sentences.

Can anyone ideas and suggestions?

Many thanks.

T.

Not being familiar with the type of thing you're asking about, nor how explicit a description you need of such an exercise, I'll go out on a limb with this. A and B are students. A is provided with the first sentence in each exchange.

  • A and B switch roles at some point.
  • The underlined words should be the same in all cases.
