Hi, I teach nursing English to university-level students. My co-worker and I wish to undertake some research on the efficacy of our English for Specific Purposes program. These students live and will work in Turkey (the school is in Turkey), but they will work at a hospital that has a large foreign population, thus they need English skills. We essentially want to find out how successful our program is at preparing these students for the real world.
I would appreciate any journal articles, magazines, websites, or other resources that any of you could point me to in order to find out more about the following subjects: English for Specific Purposes, nursing, health care, action research, improving listening and speaking skills in a non-English speaking country, etc. etc.
Thanks in advance...
