ACT YOUR AGE

Dear Teachers,

1. I make a good living but there is certainly no laughter on or off the job.

- What does "there is certainly no laughter on or off the job" mean here?

2. Growing up so many of us heard "grow up and act your age".

- "act your age" here means "act appropriately with your age", right?

Thanks a bunch to Teachers,

Stevenukd.
