ACT AT ONE'S OWN WISH

- My daughter is very stubborn, when she is determined not to do something, she will not do it. She can drive me crazy with her demands. She believes she can act at her own wish.

- What does "she can act at her own wish" mean in this situation?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

It is not a natural utterance, but means she can act as she wishes, she can do what she wants . She is not dependent on others' decisions and does not take others desires into consideration when making her own decisions.
