across/around or all over the globe

Question

Hello,Would all three work in: "They have special agents scattered across/all over/around the globe"? Around sounds a little odd to me, and I think I'd go with across or all over. What do you think?

No need to be sorry.

I realize that the world/globe is round and therefore "around" would sound best. That makes sense. However, I came across a few sentences:It is sickening to think about what these terrorists are doing across the globe. (economist.com)
- It is a common public-health enemy that we are struggling with across the globe. (time.com)

Some people think the world's flat and the globe is round (which it is). I have a small globe on my desk, and nothing's actually flat, but that doesn't matter. I think that globe/world are the same thing.

I hope that I will not be misunderstood. I am just expressing my opinion, Philip.
