How do you end a sentence when the last element of the sentence is an acronym (e.g.: "The three countries are: China, the U.K. and the U.S..")?
The problem lies in it that the last letter of the acronym already ends with a dot and you have to finish your sentence with a dot, making it look like a continuance such as '..'.
