Acknowledgement

Is it proper for all recipients of a copied letter to acknowledge receipt on a single copy?

Top answer

It will depend on the letter. Imagine you are the sender of the letter, and ask yourself how important it will be for you to receive an acknowledgement (and any comments). You as recipient can then act accordingly.

  • I'm not sure what you mean by a single copy.
  • Normally I think people wouldn't mind how an acknowledgement comes.
