acknowledge the fact that bondage must be removed

"Everybody must acknowledge the fact that bondage must be removed."

I have derived this sentence from my mind. I do not how it is said correctly and idiomaticly. So would somebody correct it?

Bondage:Slavery,, being under control of another person

Remove: I tried to say end or finish.

Acknowledge the fact that: It should be admitted as true

Thank you.
