Vocabulary

achieve goals/meet objectives

Hello!

Can you tell me please, which one of the two is better in the sententence:

Integrative negotiation, later popularly called win-win approach, refers to a process of discussion by which the agreement is reached that achieves/fullfils goals of the both sides/ which meets objectives of both sides.

Can I use mutual here to economize? If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you

'Mutual' will not work so well here, without a major revision of the sentence. I can't find a good argument here for preferring one choice over the other. Be careful with 'the'.

I vote for "meets the objectives". You can also rephrase in active voice: "a process by which both sides reach an agreement ...", something of that nature.

Thank you Davkett and Calif Jim. I think the sentence will work much better in active voice.
