accustom

Do you only accustom yourself to something or can you accustom someone else to something?

This is what I am talking about.
Is this natural?
My wife is against my smoking at all. Your wife doesn't mind. It's whatever you accustom her to. If you've accustomed her to your smoking, she'll put up with it.

Thanks
