accumulator

"accumulator = a kind of betting on the results of a series of horse races, by which any money you win from a race is bet on the next race"
This seems to be British usage. I wonder what is the American equivalent.

I wonder if this is what AmE calls a "roll-up".

In the UK, an accumulator refers to a series of bets on any series of events, e.g.

1. The 2.30 at Chepstow

2. The FA Cup

3. Snow on Christmas Day

4. Whether the US president will be abducted by aliens during 2006
