The target price has been raised from $26 to $28.What does "accumulate" rating means?  Usually accumulate is verb. isn't it? What does "accumulate" rating means? Usually accumulate is verb. isn't it? What is feature of the word accumulate in above sentences?

I beieve the situation is this. Stock market analysts of this type give advice to people. They do this by assigning a rating to each stock. An "accumulate" rating means that the analyst's advice is that you should accumulate the stock (ie buy, and don't sell).

'Accumulate' here is really an imperative verb form , ie 'Accumulate it!'
