Account

Good morning. Is the usage of the word "account" in academic writing limited to the description of events and processes?

Or may I write "account of English written book reviews", "account of scientific article language", "account of research projects" in the sense of description?

Thank you!

Anonymous Or may I write "account of English written book reviews", "account of scientific article language", "account of research projects" in the sense of description? It is difficult to judge without seeing it in context, but I suspect not. An account is normally a narrative.
