According to vs Depending on

Hello , I'm having trouble with these 2 words , I've posted a thread with 2 setnences but I didn't get the snwer to them,

Are the 2 words sometimes interchangeable?

1 We either do it this way or that way according to/depending on...

2. You are seated according to the card you are given/depending on the card you are given.




When do you use DEPENDING ON and when ACCORDING TO?




Can you say the following ?

• Occupational physicians are distributed according to where the money is even more than according to where the hazard is.
