So, I have researched for a while on the internet and found different views on the phrase "according to me." While most agree that it is, in fact, grammatically correct, it doesn't convey the right meaning and sounds odd.

What do you guys think? Is "according to me/you" okay?

A question for CalifJim - I saw that you mentioned in a thread years ago that "according to me" can be considered right if it is used after naming the topic. Such as "Life According to Me" would mean life as I understand it.

So, according to that, will the following be correct?

It is correct. (now)
It will be correct. (at some time in the future)

You aren't asking if it will be correct later, are you? So why use "will"?
