Accent Problem

Hi,

Basically, I am tamil medium student. I am familiar with english grammer and I can speak english efluently.Right now i am in singapore, my colleagues told me " sometimes we couldn't what you speak.you are speaking english as your language style ,try to change your style/ accent" I don't know how i am speaking, I am pushed to change my speaking style.Pls. anyone help in this.

It would be too confusing to imitate a man from Boston and a woman from Glasgow.

Ha, Queen Elizabeth isn't a good role model speech-wise for anyone. I'd say about 0.00005% of British people speak with that accent and everyone else laughs at them.

No actually I wouldn't say she speaks very clearly. Some of the extreme RP pronounciation is quite odd. It is so clipped that some words are hard to understand.
