Accent

I'm think of doing drama, and then go to american few years later to expand my knowledge of acting. I have a normal british accent but if i were to learn the American accent will i sound mixed or something?

That mainly depends on how well you can do the accent. Just for reference, I have a cousin that lived in California for the first 25 years of her life and following that, lived in London for ten years and in Edinburgh for eight. Her accent is sort of a "train wreck" from all three places and people everywhere ask where she's from.

  • Out of curiosity, is English your native language?

Yes, that's what I'm saying in essence.
