Academic writing title

Please, can you help me choosing a suggestive title for the chapter of a paper where I wish to say that I am investigating something (e-learning) in a more detailed way…

“Digging deeper on e-learning”

Can I use this title in an academic paper or is it too colloquial? (or maybe it doesn´t really make any sense?)

If it's the title of just a chapter, I don't think it's too informal. I think you need to change the preposition from on to into .
