Can you pelase tell me if the sentence sounds ok or if I should change anything:
Although negotiation can be regarded as one of the oldest human activities used even today almost daily in private or business interaction, its academic study began relatively late.
In a more literal translation, academic study in the second part of the sentence would be replaced by:
...its study in academic spheres began relatively late. Is it OK? Do you have any suggestions in incorporating academic spheres in the sentence?
