Vocabulary

abuse someone's kindness, patence, privileges, etc.

Hi,
Consider

I promise I will never abuse your kindness/patence/understanding, etc.

Is this sentence ok?
Is the verb 'to abuse' the right choice here?
Are there other (perhaps much better) ways to express the same idea ...i.e. to misuse smth, or use smth or sb excessively, too hard or in the wrong way (for your own benefit)?

Hope the above makes sense to you.
Thank you so much!
