Would you please correct this paragraph for me? I am not a native speaker so I doubt that I made the following translation properly:
Abstract
In the year 2003 the Library of the Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology Brixen was nominated via decree as the Library of the Diocese Bozen-Brixen. The decree was preceded by an agreement between the and the Italian Conference of Catholic Bishops. The agreement envisages the preservation and the accessibility of Catholic archives and libraries to be promoted and the establishment of diocesan libraries.
In a first part the assignment points out the history of the library in Brixen and deals in a second step with the situation of diocesan libraries in where such establishments have already existed for a long time.
Afterwards the assignment analyses if the agreement between State and Church has had effects on the Diocesan Library of Brixen although it is located in where the Province has (in contrast to other Italian Provinces) a primary legislative competence regarding the libraries.
At last the assignment includes the draft of a new library statute for the Diocesan Library of Brixen which considers the new exigencies and competences and brings them into accordance with the Library Statute of the Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology Brixen and the regulatory framework.
