Abstract of a dissertation

My dissertation centres on the elaboration of the Marketing Plan of the commercial quarters of ’Company Name’ (henceforth Resort Centre) for 2010. The reason being, that in the present dubious world, which changes on a daily basis, it is of utmost importance to plan our activities consciously and deliberately.

Through the examination of the steps of the marketing plan I aimed to draw a full and authentic picture of the activities of the Resort Centre, to reveal its weaknesses and defectivenesses, to determine its possibilities and barriers and also to appoint a possible route for the execution of the objectives.

The analysis of the operation of the Resort Centre confirms my assumption that there is a demand for the existing services and this can be improved by the execution of the revealed but unexploited possibilities. The outcome of my marketing research, a survey filled by the guests of the Resort Centre, also confirmed my assumption.

Through examination of the elements of the marketing mix I determined which factors/areas need to be improved. The most important duties are as below:

§ Conscious product development. . Number one priority is the development of the wellness and sport tourism, also the work-out of a complex program pack connected with the facilities of the smaller area around Szentes city.

§ Performance of a favourable price-value proportion.

§ Attunement of the direct and indirect marketing channels. Inspiration of the employees in personal selling, involvement of travel agencies with complex offers.

§ Circumspect planning of the communication channels. The optimizing of the existing webpage and the multilingual appearance of it is of utmost importance.

§ Improvement of human resources and the organisation. Intention to decentralization and inspiration of employees in language learning.

§ Improvement of the material elements of services.

§ Elaboration of standardized resolution processes, giving attention to of customer complaints management.

In order to attain the objectives two conditions have to be fulfilled: completion of the guidelines referred to in he marketing mix and insurance of financial covers for their realization.
