Absence letter

Dear Mr
I would like to apolorize for not coming on Friday. There was a death in Lion's family. My family and I had to go to the funeral. Lion and I are partners on the summative, therefore we could not present it on Friday. Could we present it on Monday? Please let me know if you need further requier detail.
