Above/more/over

Hi

I know that above and over are pretty much the same, but is it possible to say: I'm above ten years older than she is. - I'm not sure, maybe it's possible to use "above", however I would use either "over" or "I'm more than ten years older than she is".

Hi Newguest, Neither "over" nor "above" works there. I'm more than ten years older than she is.

Hi ,,

You can say ,, I am above the age of ten years .

But in your case ( comparative) I have no idea whether " Above " is correct or not
