About will or going to

I have a problem with this statement, I don´t know wether to use will or going to in here.
"Who do you think ..... the World Cup", "I think Brazil ..... win, I´m sure"
I would like to know the reasons.
Thanks a lot.

In my opinion 'will' is necessary here. Textbooks say that when you use 'going to' there should be something in the present situation that makes the prediction more or less certain. The usual example: There are clouds in the sky.
