About vs regarding

We have a discusion here at work. The other want to use 'about' whereas I wish to use 'regarding'.

Example:

"For future communication about/regarding this case, please refer to the case number xxxxxx".

Best regards,

Hanne

Both are correct as used here. 'Regarding' is more elegant, in my opinion. It may even be more professional - particularly if you work with an attorney.
