About tiddlywinks

No one ever plays tiddlywinks with out someone being flippant.
Tiddlywinks is played,but no one ever plays with himself.
And tiddlywinks plays with flippant.
There are,therefore,at least three people.

What does this passage want to express?
After reading the first sentence, I conclude that everyone plays tiddlywinks seriously.
But it does not fit the third sentence....
"plays with flippant"--- how come an adjective comes after a preposition...?
I am not the original poster.
I found the original posting on a Taiwanese BBS.
Edit: I later noticed that the poster said it is of a logic context....

I can only guess. as if they were merely playing a game of tiddlywinks, which is not a serious game. "with flippancy" might indicate that the third element in any game of tiddlywinks is flippancy, thus the personification.

I can only guess. It might be an analogy about a particular situation in which those in discussion are not really being serious....as if they were merely playing a game of tiddlywinks, which is not a serious game.
"with flippancy" might indicate that the third element in any game of tiddlywinks is flippancy, thus the personification.
