About this sentence...

my friend said, "life is not a perfect process, in fact, it is a process to perfection" correct or not? or instead of "life is not a perfect process, in fact, it is a process to be perfection"

Top answer

The first sentence is correct. The second one is not grammatically correct. TO BE (in the infinitive - so as it is in this sentence) cannot be followed by a noun (perfection is a noun).
