About the word 'mean'.
Hi everyone.
Today I'd like to talk about the word 'mean'. I know it has meaning like selfish as an adjective. But does it have meaning of 'cruel' or 'terrible'.
For example, in this conversation
-you know what, I have to attend this group meeting at 7:30 a.m. I can't get up so early.
-Whoa, That is so mean.

Yeah, when I say selfish, I mean to say not generous. selfish is kinda improper here. lol
