About the usage of "pursuit"

Hi teachers,

I was trying to express an idea like: I am totally committed to pursue my career in the area of Computer Science. Can I say something like:

"I am fully engaged in the pursuit in Computer Science."
or
"I am fully enagaged in the pursuit of a career in Computer Science."

Are those sentence correct? Any better way to express it?

Thanks a lot for your kind attention!

Hi,

I recommend the way that you yourself first said it.

I am totally committed to pursuing my career in the area of Computer Science.
