About the usage of "EVEN"

I'm a chinese and I'm confused about ...."I did even...."

"I even did...."the two sentences. Are they all correct? or Which one is wrong?

Neither is a sentence by itself, and either could appear in different sorts of sentences: I washed the dishes, and then I did even more housework. I washed the dishes, and I even did the pots and pans.

In addition to what MrM has said, I'd like to add that even should be placed before the word it modifies:

Even he saw her there. | He even saw her there. | He saw even her there. | He saw her even there
