About the Religious Service of Muslims

Question

The Muslims perform five times of religious service daily. They do not have to go to church necessarily, they can do it at home.What phrase do you use to refer to this kind of service?

We call them prayers, five prayers daily... Fajer prayer (Dawn prayer) Dhohor prayer (noon prayer) Aser prayer (afternoon prayer) Maghreb prayer (Sunset prayer) Asha prayer (evening prayer). And you notice you call them after the name of the time when each of them takes place.

Furthermore, we don't call our places of worship (churches) but (mosques). As far as I know churches for christians and temples for jews. It's preferable to pray at mosque but yes we can do it at home.

And I apologize for my blunder.

I have another question. When one Muslim meets another, he would say "Aselamaleikung" or something, meaning "Allah bless you". And the other person would say something like "Wa aleikungsuselam". Instead of using the word "mosque", a Muslim would use "moszit" or something. And a Muslim would only eat "Halam" food.

Could you tell me the exact words for the following ones with the approximate pronunciation?

Aselamaleikung

Wa aleikungsuselam

Moszit

Halam

As for the words you ask about, I don't know if you want me to give you the meanings of them? Or you want the correct Arabic words or their translation to Eng?

But I'm going to answer them all..

Aselamaleikung means (Peace be upon you; may Allah's peace be upon you)In Arabic we say Asalaam Alykom (they're two words)

Wa aleikungsuselam is the reply meaning (and you; may Allah's peace be upon you as well) In Arabic we say Wa Alykom Asalaam (three words)

Moszit is mosque in Eng. In Arabic we say Masjed.

Halam is what's allowed by Allah in Islam, not only food but anything Muslims are allowed to do and practice. In Arabic, Halal. The first letter here is not the sound /h/ but approximate sound to the sixth letter in Arabic. In linguistics, it's given the following shape /h/.
